Surprised!

Not a Leap Year

A fun day riding with my buds turned into a surprise birthday party at the end of the trail! It all started with Peter showing us some great single track on the Dominican side of China Camp. I was 'that guy' for once struggling to hang on the back-end of our strong group of six. I wanted to end my ride short as we neared the parking lot, but I was easily convinced to check out one more 'sweet single track downhill'. We pedal further and further down the road, pull into a mini park and it was loaded with friends and food all waiting for my arrival. I had no clue!

A perfect day on the bike and with friends and family. Thanks to everyone that showed me up on the trails as well as an amazing time. I have never been surprised at a birthday party, even though it's not my birthday, technically. I was born a leap year baby.
