Sometimes you see the strangest creatures out on the trail. This morning I did a loop around the Headlands, hitting up some unfamiliar trails. On my way back I spotted this buzzard perched atop a fence post, wings spread wide to catch the warmth of the sun. It was really startling at first because this sucker was huge! I took some photos and passed, making sure not to upset it's sun bath.
